Hi! My name is Joanna Anil and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I am an undergraduate student at Rice University pursuing a B.A. in Cognitive Sciences + Business Management. 

I am very passionate about the intersections of business and design.

I believe there is always something to learn from every person you encounter which is why I think it is so important to understand your user. Embracing diverse experiences with a spirit of empathy is crucial in the design realm, and I am a huge visionary who enjoys bringing ideas to life.

A part from my design experiences, I am a co-founder of Owl Blooms, a pop-up flower shop at Rice University, I enjoy all things music from creating to performance, and I am also a part of Rice's premier competitive South Asian fusion a cappella team, Basmati Beats!
